| Mattie Begins A New Chapter of Her Life in the North. Is She Free At Last? |
The year is 1856 and the town is Ripley, Ohio. Ripley is a hotbed of anti-slavery activity with abolitionists Rev. John Rankin and John Parker, former slave and successful businessman, helping hundreds of runaways make it across the Ohio River and on to their dreams of freedom.
Mattie and Johnny hoped to reach Ripley together and begin a new life. But, fate had a different plan.
See the much anticipated sequel to "Mattie, Johnny and Smooth White Stones." Will the slave catchers on their trail capture them and steal away Mattie and Johnny's dreams of freedom? Will they be together forever as they so long for?
